March-A-Thon 2009

The Mona Shores Band March-A-Thon is just around the corner. At the June 2, 2009 parents had requested that we get the pledge form out early so they could get pledges from families and friends over the summer. Remember have all checks made out to the MSBP.
The March–A-Thon routes are not completed yet but we will let you know as soon as possible. Remember all of the pledges you get will go right to your student's account.
If you need a forms they will be available at the Scrip table on Wednesday night or see the attached form.

Mona Shores Band Music Education Trip to Orlando

If you were not able to attend the parent meeting on June 16, 2009 and need information regarding this incredible opportunity for the MS Band students to perform at Walt Disney World please contact Jason Boyden at the Mona Shores web site under staff http://www.monashores.net/ .

This trip is not mandatory for students. The cost of the trip is anticipated to be around $975.00 per student.

Marching Band Pre-Camp and Band Camp Basic Info

This year's camp at
Little Pine Island will run from Thursday, August 20 through Tuesday, August
25, 2009

Pre-Camp, which is held at the high school, will be August 10 through 14 and
August 17 through 19, 2009.

Mona Shores Band Alumni Association

A newly forming organization for those who were part of the rich history of Mona Shores Band.

Both band alumni and band parent alumni are welcome to join?

The missions of this new organization:

1) To involve past band members in events to join in the fun! The first official event will be this falls homecoming game. This will be a great way to see and catch up with past band mates!
